A SIMPLO bookcase designed for a single wall

When the need is as unique as the space, the solution must be equally so. For this project, the client presented me with a concave wall—a gentle curve, a singular form, which could have discouraged standard furniture. Rather than adapting the client to the furniture, I chose to design the SIMPLO bookcase around the existing architecture.
The goal: to create a piece of furniture that fits the shape, enhances the space and is discreetly spectacular — a setting that is both functional and sublime.
Noble materials, a balance of contrasts
Carrara Venato marble uprights: the purity of marbled white, the quiet strength of the veins — an elegant, timeless anchor.
Shelves in polished Silestone Marquina, 3 cm thick: the deep, dense, veined black contrasts and structures the whole. The generous thickness demonstrates robustness and durability.
Integrated high-performance dimmable LED strips: a soft, adjustable light that reveals the material, its nuances, its reflections — transforming the marble by night and by day.
This combination of white marble and black Silestone creates a play of graphic contrasts, while respecting the understated elegance that characterizes SIMPLO. The mix highlights the materiality, the veining, the depth—all while maintaining a subtle visual harmony.
Tailored support — beyond just furniture

This project was not limited to manufacturing. It was the result of a commitment — to giving time, listening, and reflection, so that the furniture would reflect the client's image.
Over a period of one month, four meetings punctuated the process:
first interior visit to measure, observe, understand the space, the light, the environment, the needs of the clients;
configuration proposals, adaptation to the constraints of the concave wall;
discussions about materials, finishes, thickness, lighting;
Final validation of the project.
This time for dialogue guarantees furniture that does not simply "fill" the space, but transforms it, enriches it — like a bespoke design tailored to the architecture and the client's sensibility.
On the day of installation, everything took place in a single morning: precision, cleanliness, simplicity. The object imposed itself perfectly, without any jarring notes, as if it had always belonged to this wall.
From success… to renewed confidence
Customer satisfaction was immediate — not only visual, but sensory: admiration of the materials, touch of the surfaces, gaze drawn towards the light, the balance, the finesse.
So convinced were they that they ordered a second SIMPLO bookcase—for a room upstairs. A new request, a new setting, renewed confidence. This feedback is undoubtedly the greatest recognition of the care, exacting standards, and commitment to creating truly bespoke furniture.
What this reveals about SIMPLO's positioning
With this achievement, SIMPLO confirms what it was designed to do:
adaptable furniture, capable of working with the existing environment — architecture, light, volumes.
an alliance of noble materials — marble, technical stone, lighting — for a result that is at once understated, luxurious and functional.
attentive and personalized support, a guarantee of quality, seriousness, and a relationship of trust.

SIMPLO is not a catalogue. It's an approach. A dialogue between space, material, client and artisan-designer. With each project, the ambition is the same: to deliver a unique piece of furniture, true to the soul of the place and those who inhabit it.
